SGA’S LOWER SCHOOL OFFERS PRIVATE EDUCATION FOR GRADES PREK-6 AND ACCREDITED HYBRID LEARNING FOR UPPER SCHOOL STUDENT-ATHLETES
We have lower and upper school programs tailored to fit the unique needs and abilities of a range of ages.
LOWER SCHOOL
GRADES PREK – 8
Each of our Academic Coaches has at least 10 years of real-world experience in the classroom.
SGA’s experience begins with our nurturing PreK class for 3—and 4-year-olds. Nestled in enriching, curiosity-provoking classrooms, our youngest student-athletes kick off a life-long learning journey in our early childhood program.
Our lower school offers private pre-k through sixth-grade education, using the Texas TEKS curriculum as the baseline for a content-rich curriculum incorporating hands-on and interactive learning. Lower school student-athletes will study classical literature and concentrated studies of the core academic disciplines: history, literature, mathematics, and science.
Enrichments like after-school special clubs and Friday Spanish classes offer our student-athletes a unique opportunity to expand their knowledge in various subjects.
Keeping students stimulated through daily physical and hands-on learning offers benefits such as:

UPPER SCHOOL
GRADES 9 – 12
Academic Coaching in reading, writing, and math underscores and builds upon an accredited online curriculum.
In upper school at SGA, student-athletes in grades 7-12 experience academic coaching as they continue to work toward mastery in literature/writing, history, math, and science.
Through our partnership with accredited online curriculum partners, upper school students can access seemingly endless foreign language classes with technology-focused options like game design, fine arts, and much more.
With individualized learning and academic coaching, SGA students are well-prepared for college and beyond.
