WHAT IS SGA?
SG Academy (SGA) is a private soccer school for grades 1-8 with three locations in Austin, TX. We feature an accredited curriculum through Laurel Springs School and are also happy to work with homeschool families and co-ops who have their own curriculum who are seeking professional soccer training.
SGA was founded by Sonny Guadarrama to provide student athletes with a great education, professional soccer training and peerless life skills development without forgetting the importance of quality family time.
WE VALUE A PARENT’S ROLE.
We also know that many parents have made the commitment to homeschool their children. We respect this choice and offer unique support options to provide their home students with a more dimensional training and social infrastructure. It can offer talented student athletes a way to maximize their chances of playing professionally or receiving a college scholarship.
We are already working with several homeschooled children who are putting the SGA difference to work for them.

OUR THREE LOCATIONS
SGA is proud to partner with SoccerZone for both their north and south locations. This gives us the opportunity to serve a larger swath of families looking for a unique approach to education and who share our love for futbol!
As we evaluated multiple options for facility partners, it was clear that SoccerZone offered us the best environment to accomplish our goals. Having a spacious indoor facility is critical to ensuring we can deliver on our commitment to elite training every day, rain or shine.
We also offer SGA East at the SG33 Soccer Center training facility. It meets so many of the same needs that Soccer Zone does and we’re able to meet parent need in an even bigger ATX footprint.

OPTION 02
Bring Your Own Curriculum
Already have a curriculum you like? SG Academy also offers options to allow your student to attend full days at the school to spend time with other students for social time. Our teachers can assist your student but with your own curriculum, your student would be required to work largely in a self-learning environment.
